Perhaps, we were chosen, for such a time as this!

Being chosen by God in a world full of uncertainty is daunting. What greater honor than to be hand-picked by the King for such a time as this? Nothing could have prepared us for this time, but in times of despair, I found I needed an outlet. Dear Zion serves as a vessel to project my Christian passions, thoughts, and inspirations.

Knowing

Do you ever have moments where you are truly trying to grasp the reality of what Jesus did for you when he died on the cross? And I do not mean a moment where you're sitting in church and it gets brought up and you're thankful for it, but a moment when you just hear something about the death of Jesus and it REALLY hits you. MY WHY

How did this start?

Chosen. The word that started it all. The word I have struggled with my entire life. The word that God has recently placed on my heart for myself. But what does it mean, and why does God want me to explore it more deeply?

I created this blog to help me maintain intimacy with God, in a way that might speak to other struggling Christian women. In a world that is not built to cater to our busy lifestyle, we must maintain our calling, and continue to walk in it. Some of us are moms, wives, employee's, and more, but ALL of us are chosen for such a time as this.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power- Ephesians 6:10.
